As 2025 begins, I have been encouraged by the feedback I have received so far regarding the launch of Australians for Better Government (ABG).
We have experienced a steady flow of new Members and have had people generously donate.
Interestingly, I have been contacted by a number of people who wish to be a part of ABG and contribute to our management structure. We have also been contacted by overseas groups, who wish to collaborate with us - more on that soon.
It is clear there is an appetite for a group like ABG to advocate for a better system of Government in Australia.
Recent years have amplified how inadequate our system is in particular areas - especially as our individual freedoms are slowly eroded.

On Commanding the Narrative this week, I took the opportunity to speak with Kevin Loughrey to further comment on the launch of Australians for Better Government.
Kevin and I discussed what we hope to achieve and why people should join. Kevin also gave a presentation on how we can improve our voting practices in Australia, which as always was full of innovative ideas and practical solutions.
Kevin also spoke about open source software and how the Government could save hundreds of millions of dollars by adopting it.
Australians for Better Government Launches
In this article, which was published on both Commanding the Narrative and Australians for Better Government, I point out Australia’s proud history of leading the World in the democratic process.
Australia was the first Nation in the World to introduce a secret ballot - which came to be known as the Australian ballot.
In the same vein, Australians for Better Government is dedicated to improving the way we vote, the way we select suitable candidates, how Government functions and the wording of our Constitution.
Freedom Rally 2025
The Freedom Rally 2025 is fast approaching.
In a month’s time, Freedom loving Australians will descend upon Parliament House Lawn in Canberra, to push back against the bad policies of the Albanese Government.
