Commanding the Narrative Newsletter 27
Australia is suffering due to weak leadership.
Albanese is not a leader.
This is evident in the recent announcement that US President Donald Trump will be placing 25% tariffs on steel and aluminum, ‘without exceptions or exemptions’.
Groveling, Albanese then jumped on the phone to plead Australia’s case. Trump’s reply was that we would give ‘great consideration’ to Australia.
Australia has a trade surplus with America. Added to that, we have been a strong ally of the US and many of our youth have shed blood and lost their lives on the battlefield fighting America’s wars.
America even has a military presence here on our soil that gives the US a strategic advantage in the Pacific.
If Albanese was a strong leader, and someone Trump respected, Australia would not be included in these tariffs from the get-go.
I suspect the outcome will be that Trump will allow Australia an exemption, but Albanese will certainly be sweating on his decision.
It is little wonder that the Australian public is quickly losing faith in the Albanese Government. Weakness is not a virtue of a great leader.
Until next week, stay active and never back down!
Many thanks,
Steven Tripp
I had a fascinating podcast with Miki Nguyen this week. The act of courage and survive that Miki’s father showed during the Fall of Saigon led to the story being featured in the Oscar-nominated film, ‘Last Days in Vietnam’, and in the new book, ‘The Last Flight Out’.
Miki tells us how he felt at the time as a 6-year-old boy and what impacts the events had on his life. Miki also discusses the current conflicts in the World today, whether the Vietnam war achieved anything and his own personal experience at the US Capitol on January 6.

We also clarified the Libertarian Party’s position on abortion and discussed the policies they will be taking to the Federal election.

Update on rumble:
Over the past month, I have been involved in a lengthy process of setting up a dedicated Commanding the Narrative Rumble channel.
This has no doubt been frustrating for our Rumble followers on our previous account, ‘Ex-Candidates’, as they have been bombarded with constant uploads of older episodes.
For some reason, Rumble does not allow users to change their usernames, therefore I have had to build a new channel from scratch.
I am sure you would all agree that we have outgrown the ‘Ex-Candidates’ branding.
The result is that both channels will continue, but all our live streams will now be broadcast on our new Commanding the Narrative channel.
To watch our live streams on Rumble, please click the link below and follow the NEW Commanding the Narrative Channel.
Thank you for everyone on Rumble for sticking with us during this transition.
